UK Paving And Brickwork, UK Artificial Grass & Maintenance, UK Paving Supplies, UK Paving Supplies, UK Artificial Grass Supplies and UK Porcelain Patios are all names run under the company UK Contracts Group. Simon Bardwell trades as UK Contracts Group
Guarantee certificates will be eligible once payment is received in full to Simon Bardwell Trading As UK Contracts Group from the names detailed which will become active from the date stated. UK Contracts Group will replace products used at the address stated within 10 years of the commencing date free of charge if products become faulty. This applies to Marshalls products and Grass products only though not utility or standard products. If a customer has agreed any compensation from Marshalls we reserve the right to terminate any further guarantees ourselves. We are a registered installer for Marshalls and work by their terms and conditions. All other products are guaranteed for 1 year only. A garden wall, driveway or patio constructed by UK Contracts Group with materials supplied by UK Contracts Group will be covered for 1 year for installation issues. The installation guarantee will only come into effect when a concrete base is supplied for driveways and patios and laid by UK Contracts Group and or other installations are constructed by UK Contracts Group to our specification. Any other bases supplied other than by UK Contracts Group will not be included. Artificial grass will be installed as per our quotes show unless otherwise stated. Artificial grass will be cut to within 1-7mm+/- and to the nearest row possible. All walls built by UK Contracts Group on original foundations will not be covered due to unknown structure of original foundation. This does not effect the material guarantee. All concrete products may (or may not) in their early stages appear to have a white stain on the face of the product. This is efflorescence. It is only temporary and over a period of time will disappear. It can also occur depending on where the product has been stored. (i.e. outside open to the elements). Please be aware this does not in anyway effect the durability of the product itself. UK Contracts Group cannot be accepted for responsibility of this occurrence in anyway. The guarantee will take effect only when the project has been completed and this is defined as all works being completed by UK Contracts Group and the customer has made full payment of the value quoted. Payment to be made to a member of staff before they leave site on day of completion of works The guarantee covers the installation of the UK Contracts Group products only and does not extend to cover fees paid for garden designs, soft landscaping, alternative un-supplied products or any additional supplementary constructions. The guarantee does not cover high power pressure washing. Trial areas should be tested before larger areas take place. In most cases with pressure-washing, sand will be disrupted from the joints and after the area has dried will need immediate replacement. Mortar could also be removed from joints when pressure-washing and if so, needs immediate replacement with good quality strong mortar. UK Contracts Group cannot be held responsible for any defacing of installations after works have been completed. All walls built with no coping will be held to a 1 year guarantee. We will not be held responsible to any pointing after installation due to cracking with earth movement. To avoid hairline fractures is to have the joints pointed with resin. This will be offered in a quote though if not used all is done using a 4 and 1 sand cement mix to make sure the joints last for a very long time. 4 and 1 pointing is guaranteed for 6 months where all other resin jointing are guaranteed for 3 years.
UK Contracts Group can not be held responsible for hairline fracturing to size movement in products. In the event of damage we can change the area at a quoted price. The guarantee also covers the installation for reasonable domestic use and does not extend to cover damage or deterioration caused by, or resulting from: accident, misuse, heavy goods vehicles (above 3.5tonnes) , natural weathering (colour dysfunction), lack of maintenance, including re-pointing where necessary, impact damage, commercial use or staining caused by any substance whatsoever, non cleaning of grass or burns from flames. The guarantee does not cover any form of damage, accidental or otherwise, caused to person or property prior to, during or after the construction. Neither does it cover, movement, expansion or contraction of sub-soil or sub-base due to climatic changes, tree root activity, underground drains and changes to the local water table, therefore the guarantee does not cover damage caused by these or related factors. Any claim directed to any part of the finished surface being less than 150mm below the damp proof course of any adjacent wall, will not be covered. In the event of a claim, every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that remedial work is completed in a colour, pattern and finish as specified in the original contract. However, due to product evolution and the natural weathering of the existing installation, no assurance can be given that an exact match would be possible though every effort will be made to match all of products to the best possible order.
All works to be rectified (if needed) will be completed to a time suitable to UK Contracts Group.
